The VM/04 is an analogue acceleration to velocity converter, with an in built high pass filter removing noise from the signal that could affect the integrity of test data. The signal output by the VM/04 can be read as mm/sec/V. For configurations using Charge Output Accelerometers a Charge Amplifier will be required.
Standard Scaling
The VM/04 features adjustable scaling, with high pass filter frequencies of 5 or 20Hz, and velocity ranges 1, 3.16, 10, 31.6, 100, 316mm/sec.pk. /volt pk. for 10mV pk./g input.
