The A/1800 range of IEPE Seismic accelerometers are specifically developed to provide high voltage output, using multiple shear plates for micro g level measurement. Virtual immunity to strain input side effects provides guarantee of low frequency and measurement integrity. As with all IEPE types of accelerometer the A/1800 requires a constant current supply in the range of 2 to 20mA, this can be supplied by suitably equipped hardware front ends or via the voltage source modules available from DJB Instruments range of Instrumentation.
Ideally suited to Seismic and Civil engineering applications where low frequency and low 'g' level measurements are required.
For applications over 185ºC, a charge output version of this accelerometer (A/800) can deliver solutions up to 250ºC.
