Transmission induced noise may significantly degrade data derived from piezoelectric transducer sources. The QV/01 drives a low impedance signal, maintaing data integrity up to several hundred metres.
The QV/01 requires a power source to be end of signal line, and signal is superimposed on energisation allowing for a small device with aminimal two wire interconnection. The VB/01 battery powered IEPE voltage supply delivers the minimum 18v constant current supply required to power the QV/01 and the attached Sensor. This configuration requires minimal instrumentation to interface with either a display or vibration analyser.
